Recycled Phone Numbers:
Please note that it’s common practice for networks to recycle phone numbers and unfortunately, this is entirely out of our control.
If you have purchased and activated a voice capable SIM / eSIM product from us, the phone number you have been assigned may have been associated with another user in the past.
If your Mobal plan is ever fully terminated (which will lead to the permanent disconnection of the service and loss of your phone number), your phone number will also be reclaimed and it may also be recycled / assigned to another user in the future.
Number already linked to Apps / Accounts:
If you receive an error message (such as “Phone number already in use” for example) when trying to create accounts / sign up for certain applications etc, this would suggest that the phone number has been recycled and used by someone else in the past.
If you experience this issue, you may be able to contact the support team (for the relevant app / website etc) to explain that the phone number has now been assigned to you and to ask if they can offer any further assistance.
Alternative Phone Number Required:
If an alternative phone number is required (due to the issues mentioned above), please be advised that we are unable to assign a different phone number to your Mobal SIM Card / eSIM.
If a new phone number is required, the only solution would be to purchase a replacement SIM card (which will be assigned a new phone number once it has been activated).
However, there is still a possibility that you may be assigned another phone number that has been recycled / used by someone else in the past (and so we cannot offer any guarantees).
