If you have purchased and activated a physical Voice+Data SIM Card or a Voice+Data eSIM, you will be assigned a standard Japanese phone number.
The phone number will start with a prefix of 070, 080 or 090 and once the phone number has been assigned, you will be sent an email notification confirming the number.
A record of the phone number will also be posted to your Mobal online account: www.mobal.com/myaccount
Important Note: A phone number will only be assigned to your Voice+Data SIM / Voice+Data eSIM once it has been fully activated (for the date you requested) and so unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with the phone number in advance.
In the documentation provided, you may notice that the Japanese phone number is in the international format (starting with the Japan country code prefix of 81 which replaces the leading zero).
To review the dialing instructions that you and your contacts will need to follow, please refer to the relevant guides below –
Outbound Call Guide / Incoming Call Guide

Important Note: If your service is terminated at any point (due to a short term plan ending or due to you manually cancelling a long term plan), your Mobal plan will be permanently disconnected and your Mobal phone number will be lost. You would then be required to purchase a new SIM Card / eSIM (which would be assigned a new phone number) for any future trips to Japan.
